Artist's Description

Fat Albert is a military blimp based on Cudjoe Key. Thanks to Federal funding cuts, the U.S. Air Force Tethered Aerostat (Blimp) Radar System that includes Fat Albert and eight other sites along the Gulf of Mexico, Mexican border and Puerto Rico shut down in 2014. This is not the last photo of Fat Albert aloft but it is one showing the blimp trying to avoid its fate by hiding in the fickle clouds.
