The storied Seven Mile Bridge was constructed from 1909-1912 to continue the Florida East Coast Railway's Key West Extension across Knights Key, Pigeon Key, Moser Channel, and Pacet Channel. It remains about the 50th longest bridge in the world and the 7th longest in the United States.
