Description

Cubans brought their love for cockfighting (and their chickens) when began to move to Key West around the time of our Civil War. Those lusty Cuban cocks met the free roaming domestic hens and today gypsy chickens roam the city. They are protected by law, although the Key West Chicken Catcher does occasionally round up the stragglers for forced emigration to the U.S.
