Artist's Description

Alma (population 232) is on the delta of the Upper Salmon River and was named for the Battle of Alma in the Crimean War but its two claims to tourist fame are a bakery that serves most excellent doughnuts and its proximity to the Bay of Fundy. This digital painting shows low tide at Alma. I recommend watercolor paper, picture rag, Somerset Velvet, or canvas for this piece.
