Carousel Horse #1 metal print by R B Harper.   Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Artist's Description

The earliest known carousel image is a Byzantine bas-relief from around 500 A.D. More recent makers like Frank Carretta, Gustav Dentzel, and Allan Herschell carved the most exquisite horses in the world, horses with lush waving manes, flared nostrils, dreamy or fiercely competitive eyes, and jeweled harnesses. This is a Philadelphia style horse on a restored, operating carousel.
